Happy Anniversary SweetPea!

Three years ago today, I got my hands on the best collector's item ever.

That's right. I got gay married.

Of course, SweetPea and I had a small, less legal ceremony some years prior, but on June 17th, 2008 we finally, fortunately, were able to get kinda sorta just like everyone else some restrictions apply, not valid in some states pretty much anywhere but California legally married!

Try as they might, while the homophobes (i.e. "Mormons") were able to shut down gay marriage in California, they were unable to take away our status as Limited Edition Gay Married.

I'm not even going to try to pretend that the last three years has been peaches and sunshine, but I will say that I cannot imagine being hitched to a more loving, supportive, encouraging person. She is committed to improving herself, ourselves, our family, relationship and home. I am so fortunate to have her on my team and I can't imagine life without her.
