I know I had mentioned something about making a post that was a review of the previous year.
I decided to skip that mess entirely and just post about the awesome dogs we met this past year. OK, so it's a short list, but that just makes it easier for me.
First, we have Moko. Yes, "booger". Technically, we met him in 2006, shortly after he came into the possession of his parents, Tanya and Fabian. He's in training to be a service dog, and he's matured and learned a great deal in the time we've known him. He's a beautiful, sweet dog. Two of my favorite things about Moko are that I can reduce him to a wriggling puddle of "bad dog" with ease, but he listens to me better, sometimes, than he even does his mom.
Our next dog is Cyka (pronounced "suka"). That's Russian for "bitch". I just call her "SukieSukieBahr". Cyka is a good example of how two dogs of the same breed can be so different. Cyka is so calm and listens so well, whereas Moko is about as calm and attentative as a two-year-old on crack. Moko is gangly and long, and Cyka is small and compact. Cyka is about 6 months younger than Moko.
The last dog on the god-doggie list for 2007 is a dog that we only met the once. That's ok, though, because he was a pretty damn awesome dog. His name is Beauregard, and that human he carts around with him is a pretty cool cat, too.
I totally love dogs. But, at the same time, they're so damn much work and I'm so damn lazy that I get a little intimidated. If I knew I could be a better dog-mommy, we'd probably own 8 dogs.
As for now, though, I'm perfectly content to love on other people's dogs.
Woof.

Bossy loves her some dogs, although she only has one - in the technical sense only - since the one she has is bigger than one dog but actually doesn't act that dog-like. Wha? Lordy, Bossy needs more coffee.
Oh, we do have a dog. She's not a Great Dane, but we've talked about putting a saddle on her and letting Monkey Do ride her to school. I guess I'll introduce her tomorrow.
Mr. Man is very flattered to be in such company. He'd like to thank all of the little people who helped make this possible.
The Wine Dog will be sure Mr. Man gets a reality check up, and soon.
