Opening night!
Even better, opening night happened to be SweetPea's birthday.
So we headed downtown for a rare treat - a midweek date night to see a fantastic performance of an amazing musical.
A very nice man took pity and offered to save us from our shenanigans by snapping a photo for us.
The show was amazing. Visually stunning, perfectly performed, funny, endearing, heart wrenching.
If you haven't gotten a chance to see it, you definitely should. It will be here in Sacramento through June 17th. Tickets aren't cheap, but, if you're adventurous, there's a lottery available for a limited number of orchestra seats for $25 each.
