You're married already, aren't you? Damn.
Love that book. Saved my life once.
Yeah.

What? I can't read it if I'm married?

That sucks.

Amazing book, probably will always be at the top of my list of favorites. leslie feinberg was incredibly able to put thoughts into words and describe the inner torture and conflict.. i soOOO related... enjoy reading, it is probably time for me to read my copy once again...

another fan here... i didn't really know what it meant to identify with a character until i read that book. i was riveted & devastated & moved beyond words. i agree with dawn, it's life-saving.

and you know, i was married when i read it, too, so i think you're ok there. just don't run off and try to marry leslie feinberg or something. cause you know she's with minnie bruce pratt, and that just wouldn't be cool. ;)

You know, it's the first time I've read it, and, having finished it, I think it's kinda sad that it took me this long.

All the butches around me (because my lesbian friends are almost exclusively butch) would talk to each other about it, and do the whole "you have to read this book" thing. And now I think I'm going to bean each and every one of the little shits right smack on the head that none of them ever told me that I had to read the damn book.

I'm debating writing a review, but I imagine that there's nothing I can say about it that hasn't been said ad nauseum by much better writers.
