That makes total sense. He's not doing well because he doesn't get it, but he probably doesn't get it because the teacher isn't explaining it in a way that makes sense to him.
Either way, he's cruisng for summer school... He needs to get it, or he's screwed for higher math.
But you do realize this is the same kid that named our dog Garbage, right?
