And Whiney

OK, so, in the grand scheme of things, I'm probably not that sick. But considering that I hardly ever get sick like normal people... I'm pretty damn sick.

My legs are achey and restless. I'm having a really hard time staying awake. In fact, the only reason I'm even trying is because I still have to call in to work and change the laundry out. The kids were at their dad's this past weekend, so he gets to take them to school this morning. SweetPea is staying home, too, because she was a totally different kind of sick yesterday. I think she's closer to on the mend than I am.

My nose is plugged up and draining and I'm sneezy. My throat hurts. I'm achey and whiney. My body is acting like I have a fever, but I don't get fevers so I won't even bother taking my temperature.

We were supposed to go to The City for a Super Bowl Party thing, and had to stay home, instead. Which means we didn't get to go out and have fun and meet new people. It also means we didn't get to watch the game at all because we have no reception to speak of.

So I spent the day surfing the internet and working on laundry and whatnot, and SweetPea spent the day watching old movies. And by "old" I mean Air America, not Casa Blanca.

Sorry I'm not more exciting. I actually have a couple of good rants rattling around in my head. Maybe I can work on those today. I kind of wish I had a little laptop I could take around with me, so as things start winding up in my head, I can get them written down instead of just hoping I'll be able to recall what I was thinking about.

Oh, well... Time for laundry.

It's OK to whine when you are sick. Hey, I do it everytime.

Feel better!

You might want to reconsider that Neti pot. ;)

Don't make me reiterate the point about the vomit.
