Sugar Skull Art

Does it make me completely a dumb ass that I didn't know sugar skulls were actually made from sugar? Yes? Moving on.

Given my total ignorance, I'm sure you can understand how the sidewalk display for Sugar Skull Art stopped The Cohort & I in our tracks this past Second Saturday.

Not only were the pieces simply amazing, but we got to talk to the artist, who was passionate about his work, where it's been and where it's going.

I hope at some point to be able to add one of his pieces to my collection and I would definitely suggest checking his work out if you get a chance.
