Bicyclists Balls

The section of Highway 101 that runs out to Bodega Bay and the Sonoma Coast technically has bike lanes. Although the lanes most often aren't much more than however much of that white line isn't covered by beach plants. The highway is just two narrow lanes twisting and turning between the Pacific Ocean and the hills of the Sonoma Coast. We have never passed a trip to Bodega Bay without seeing bicyclists on this road, no matter the season or the weather. I am always so glad to see them, and I think what big, hairy balls they must have. I want to cheer them, but I don't know what would be appropriate. Today there was a bicyclist that looked like he was riding towards a group of friends that were waiting for him. He looked very much like he was struggling. I hope his ride got better.
