All things being equal*, you can generally tell how bad my day's been by how long it takes me to dethaw during my drive home and start singing along to the radio. Usually it's pretty spontaneous. I'll just be driving along, doing my thing, and the next thing I know, I'm singing and bopping along to the song.
Wednesday night it was at 1:46. Of course, that was about 2/3's of the way through my commute home, but whatever!
I didn't mention this sooner because it seemed like it all kind of came up at once. I had submitted some work for consideration a couple of weeks ago, but hadn't heard back until last weekend. Wow. I can't believe that it was only last weekend! I was sure there'd be no way we could pull it off in time - positively convinced. But we did and I am so excited!
Busted Knuckle Photography will have eight prints on display at Side Show Studios starting this Saturday (Second Saturday, 6 - 10pm) and continuing through the month. The show is called "Local Place, Local Faces", and some of the prints we featured have never even been up on our blog, and none of them are available through our etsy shop (yet!).
It's our very first show and I think it's awesome that it's at Side Show Studios, because where else should a pair like us premier but at a tattoo studio.
Am I right?
*By "all things being equal", I mean "assuming a plethora of good songs". There are some days I spend most of the drive trying to avoid commercials and awful songs. Those drives don't count.
