On Thursday, the govuhnator is set to sign an Executive Order buckling down on many of the things that state offices spend money on. Temporary or seasonal help (for all of you who love your state parks, a lot of their help in the summer time is seasonal or temporary - I sure hope you enjoy nasty restrooms and overflowing garbage cans), contracted services, the hiring, transfer or promotion of employees. All of these things will cease on August 1st.
Oh, that and we'll start earning $6.55 an hour.
